Details: The Badminton Club at the University of Georgia was found in 1985 by few badminton enthusiasts. Members are from many regions around the world such as US, India, Bangladesh, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Germany etc. The university reserves at least six courts for two days per week exclusively for the club. The club collects small amount of membership fee every semester, it is however mostly supported by the university. The university owns quite a few basic rackets and anyone can check them out with a valid UGA card (free of charge). Shuttlecocks can be purchased at the equipment check-out desk and provided to the club members at no charge. As a club member you can use the university stringing machine which is available in the checkout office. The club has all the levels of players ranging from beginner to experienced. Please don't be shy to join us even you are a beginner. The more experienced players in our club are willing to guide you to improve your skills. Therefore everyone is welcome to join us. :)
